Over 32 thousand families benefited from Sakani during the first quarter of 2024; an increase of more than 15% compared to last year

Sakani reveals that 32,343 Saudi families benefited from the Program in the first quarter of the current year, with an increase of over 15% compared to the same period last year, where 27,994 families benefited. Meanwhile, the number of Saudi families who occupied their first homes reached 25,391 families. This is part of the ongoing efforts to provide diverse housing products and financing solutions that contribute to achieving the targets of the Housing Program, one of the programs of Vision 2030, which aims to raise homeownership to 70% by 2030.

Sakani clarified that the number of beneficiary families in March of last year reached 12,184 families, while the number of families who occupied their first homes was 9,381 Saudi families. This was made possible through the optional support packages provided by the program, which offers various housing support packages to facilitate first-time homeownership. These packages include non-refundable financial support of SAR 100,000 or SAR 150,000 through a partnership between the Real Estate Development Fund and financing institutions.

These packages provide flexible and diverse solutions for beneficiaries of ready, under-construction, and self-built housing units. This reaffirms the program's commitment to continued housing support and the importance of diverse financing and housing options to accelerate Saudi families' ownership of their homes.

Sakani website and application offer a variety of housing facilities and services, including real estate advisor, issuance of real estate transaction tax certificates, displaying financing institution rates, electronic land contracts, engineering design services, approved contractors, electronic financing and the real estate market, as well as registration, immediate eligibility, and electronic issuance of building permits.

All housing services, financing options, and solutions can be accessed through the link https://sakani.sa or by calling the unified customer care number (199090) for answering all inquiries and questions. Visitors can also visit the Comprehensive Sakani Center in Riyadh, Jeddah, Medina, and Al-Khobar.

It is worth mentioning that Sakani announced that over 100,000 Saudi families benefited from the program in 2023, while the number of families who occupied their first homes during the previous year was 98,475 families. These efforts are part of the continuous endeavors to increase homeownership for Saudi families to reach 70% by 2030.
