Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing begins an official visit to Madrid to meets with a number of senior officials in the Spanish government

His Excellency the Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, begins today an official visit to the Kingdom of Spain, which lasts for three days from April 15th to 17th. The purpose of the visit is to strengthen bilateral relations and review the most successful experiences between the Kingdom and Spain in various areas related to housing, urban infrastructure, development, mortgage, digital and environmental transformation.

During the visit, His Excellency will meet with the Minister of Housing and Urban Agenda, Ms. Isabel Rodríguez García, and the Minister of Digital Transformation and Civil Service, Mr. José Luis Escrivá Belmonte. In addition, he will have a meeting with the Third Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, Ms. Teresa Ribera Rodríguez, to discuss cooperation in infrastructure development, housing projects, and smart cities.

Furthermore, Minister Al-Hogail will meet with the heads of several companies specialized in technology, infrastructure, cities, renewable energy projects, and buildings. He will also visit the Business School at EI University, as well as the National Confederation of Construction Industry (CNC), to learn about successful Spanish experiences in urban development and real estate development.

It is worth mentioning that Minister Al-Hogail has conducted several official visits to the United Kingdom, Finland, China, Turkey, South Korea, and the Kingdom of Morocco in the recent period. During these visits, he met with senior officials in the governments of friendly countries, as well as with companies, investors, and businessmen, to develop cooperation and explore investment opportunities in the fields of urban development, construction, real estate development, contracting, smart cities, and urban development.
